Inexpensive Organic DIY Multipurpose House Cleaner
This is a super simple recipe for making an organic DIY multipurpose cleaner. The reason we don’t buy conventional products from the store is that they contain a lot of chemicals that are just unnecessary for cleaning your home. Being too clean can inhibit your immune system from functioning properly. While trying to avoid foreign pathogens, you don’t want to unintentionally minimize the good bacteria in your environment. We don’t recommend using bleach or any type of anti-bacterial products. We use this DIY recipe or Branch Basics in our home. You’ll need to buy a large container of organic distilled white vinegar. We buy ours at Costco in bulk so we save on packaging and cost. You’ll also need to buy organic essential oils to get the cleanest form of that product.
DIY Recipe
1/2 cup distilled organic vinegar
2 cups of water
10-20 drops of organic essential oil
Put in a container and use as needed.
We like to use a different essential oil for each space, like peppermint, lemon, lavender, or lemongrass.
